Extra DVD Ripper Express Review

Extra DVD Ripper Express is the most easiest-to-use converter that I met. Its attractive interface makes you comfortable. There are intuitive icons indicating the output format what you want to convert to, such as AVI, MPEG, Apple iPod MP4, iPhone MP4, Apple TV MP4, YouTube FLV, Sony PSP, Sony PS3, Microsoft Zune, WMV, Pocket PC, 3GP.

Before converting, you can set your video language audio and subtitle that your DVD offers. You can conveniently set the output setting by choosing the preset parameters in the output setting combo-box. For example, if you choose ‘iPod-MPEG 4 QVGA 320*240 512 kbps Stereo/128kbps’, the details video and audio information will be shown one the right of interface. However, you can choose the ‘Customize Setting’, then set your favor video and audio settings. The video setting includes Video Codec, Video Size, Frame Rate, Video Bitrate, Aspect Ratio, and the audio setting consists of Audio Codec, Audio Bitrate, Channels, Audio Sample and Audio Volume.

After setting parameters well, click ‘Convert Now’ button, it pops up a dialogue letting you select record mode. Record from current point, or record from beginning of current title, or set start time and stop time to record. Then click ‘Star’ button, it will start to convert. During the conversion process, you can enjoy the movie on the big preview panel. That’s a good experience! The trial version allows you to rip DVD 15 minutes, and the output quality is same as the original movie, so it is worthy of spending $29.77 to get a full version.
